‘Cuvee Particuliere’, Chateau Lamartine, Cahors
"A fascinating full bodied blend of Tannat and Malbec to get your chops around"
This Cuvée Particulière from Château Lamartine is a blend of Tannat and Malbec, coming from old vines of about 50 years old. Fermentation takes place in vats, before an ageing of 20 months in oak, renewed by a third every year. The result is a full-bodied wine rich in red and black fruits, with hints of kirsch and vanilla . Its soft tannins indicate a great ageing potential. Drink now but save one to lay down.Type: Red
Grape Variety: Malbec, Tannat
