"If you love richer whites and want to try something new, this is the wine for you"
Stéphanie Berecz is a French eonologist who initially came to Hungary to work at the Disznoko estate, a property owned by the French insurance company AXA. In 2002, she and her husband Zsolt founded Kikelet Pince in Tarcal near the town of Tokaj, but didn’t the wineries name containing any of the ‘funny’ Hungarian letters like ű, ü, ö, ő. So they chose Kikelet, which means springtime in Hungarian. This wine is a blend of Hárslevelű from selected lots which is then fermented and aged in barrels. Its has a sumptuous flowery nose with notes of honey and is vibrant and complex on the finish. If you like your richer whites, this is the one for you.
