Chilcomb Valley Rosé Brut NV, Hampshire (6x75cl case)

The second release from Chilcomb Valley following the sold out first release of Classic Cuvée.

This wine is made from a blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir from the highly successful 2019 and 2020 vintages. This release has spent 18 months on lees - a further release is planned for Summer 2023 which will have spent 24 months on lees.

Deep salmon in colour with an abundance of fine bubbles, the wine has vibrant notes of strawberry, some blood orange, summer citrus freshness with a little creamy nougat on the nose. The freshness continues into the palate with some lightly bready notes and a little some summer fruit salad. Reminiscent of a summer day with the sun going down, this is the perfect aperitif or paired with with light starter dishes.
