This is literally one of our favourite rosés and has been for some time now. Their story alone is epic- founded in 1989 by two real ‘Burgundians', Jacques Seysses (Domaine Dujac) and Aubert de Villaine (DRC), together with their Parisian friend, Michel Macaux. They discovered the Domaine du Logis de Nans in Var, an area east of Aix-en-Provence. The estate was renamed Triennes, with references to the "Triennia", the feasts in honour of Bacchus that were held every three years in Roman age. The "Tri" prefix was also used to remember the three original partners. This rosé, harvested at night to get fresh bunches - it is a perfect example of Provençal rosé - fresh and aromatic, it is perfect in the pool or on the beach. Boom.
