This is an absolute classic Léoville Barton, possibly the finest since the ethereal 1990. Rippling with Cabernet and classy minerals, cassis and fine gravel unfurl from the glass. All the wonderful, luscious fruit is framed by this wine's superb tannic structure. Truly one of our favourite wines from the Medoc and very good value for the enjoyment it provides.
