The Bachelet brothers established their domaine in 2005 and it has rapidly become Burgundy’s rising star.

This is their Meursault Clos du Cromin, a mineral-fresh white which Neal Martin said was “punching Premier Cru quality.” The brothers take a sustainable approach in the vineyard, ensuring vines are kept healthy in the most natural of ways. 2019 was an outstanding vintage for Burgundy and their old vines produced low yields of beautifully concentrated fruit. Using larger oak barrels so as not to hide the pristine flavours of the Chardonnay, this is an elegant, mineral-zipped white, drinking well now or good to cellar.
